I am unclear about the $300 registration fee for the weekend. I need to understand what is covered.

Can anyone attend Black Madonna 50 or is it just for members?

This historic celebration is open to all who wish to attend.

What is the color scheme for the Gala?

The color scheme is Black, White & Gold.

What is the uniform for Black Madonna 50?

Friday Gala - Black Tie or semi formal attire

Saturday Symposium - T-Shirt

Saturday Mixer - Afro-chic/Afro-glamour or cocktail attire

Sunday - Regions may designate a uniform, if desired

What about dinner on Friday and Saturday, is dinner included in my registration fee? The registration fee covers dinner on Friday but does not cover dinner on Saturday. Continental breakfast and lunch is covered on Saturday.

What else does the registration fee cover? In addition to what is listed above, the registration fee covers material, supplies, and afterglow reception/fellowship.

What is the deadline to have full registration fee paid? Deadline for payment without penalty is March 31, 2017.

Can I pay my registration in installments or is everything payable at once? Sure, you can make a registration payment once monthly and have it all paid by the March 31, 2017 deadline. You can also pay the full amount at once anytime before April 1, 2017 without a late fee.

Why is there a fee when I use my credit card? A fee is associated with all debit and credit card transactions. Typically this cost is built into the purchase price by the seller. We are offering this full weekend of events at the lowest cost possible. We are not able to assume the transaction processing cost.

How is the convenience fee calculated? The per transaction convenience fee is (.029% + .30).

What happens if an adult member wants to attend and cannot afford all or any of the registration fee? It is recommended that you work within your region to help those who may have problems paying.

What is the price for children 13 and under? The Registration is $100 for children (ages 6-13 only).

What is included in the youth registration fee? Registration fee includes activities noted on registration form, meals and a T-Shirt.

Is there a discount for families with multiple children? There is no discount available for registration of multiple children in a family.

What about childcare for times that are not published? Parents are responsible for childcare outside of the times listed on the form.

Will housing provisions be made at NTC? No plans are being considered by the committee, however, members may reach out to members living in training center to see if they will host them.

What is the cost of the T-shirts? Additional adult tees up to size XL may be purchased for $15. Sizes XXL and larger will cost $20.

How can I purchase a T-shirt? You may purchase additional T-shirts at the event venue(s), before or after worship service and online (shipping and handling fee will be included).

Failure to make hotel reservations before 3/31/2017 means risking not having a room and/or having to pay the market rate for the room which is $289 per night, instead of $129 per night (the discounted rate).

This would be a great opportunity for ministries and committees from each region to get together. Are there times and meeting places for this? There will be time at the end of each day for ministries, committees, and groups to come together. You may convene in the designated meeting areas located in the hotel.

I am a member from “back in the day,” I don't attend church anymore however, I still consider the Shrine my church. May I attend all of the events? The weekend is open to all who wish to attend.

Will transportation be available Saturday from the hotel to the museum and Sunday from the hotel to the church and back? Yes, transportation will be provided.

Will there be transportation to and from the airport for pickup and drop off? Transportation to and from the airport will NOT be provided. We will provide interested participants with a list of transportation options.

What is NTVTY (NATIVITY)? It will be an upscale mixer targeting millennials and others to connect and celebrate black womanhood and the impact of the Madonna.

I will not be able to attend for the weekend, but would like to purchase a Souvenir Ad Journal (Book).

 How can I obtain a copy? A select number of additional copies of the ad journal will be printed. You may obtain a copy of the beautiful journal as a keepsake for a $25 donation.
